Opening Reception for New Paintings by Gary Giordano

Don’t miss the opening Opening Reception Friday October 6, 7:30-10:30 PM for Gary Giordano’s new works. The gallery will also be open on Saturday (10/7) and Sunday (10/8) from 12pm to 6pm.

In these works, the artist breaks away from traditional representational and academic conventions.Giordano ventures into the depths of the subconscious mind and thought. Using gestural mark making, drips and spatters the artist captures emotion and action as an aesthetic on the surface.

A little about Giordano:

Born in Trenton New Jersey and raised in Yardley of Bucks County Pennsylvania Giordano’s early influences where impressionism, modernism, and abstraction which he first was exposed to at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and The Barnes Museum in Philadelphia Pa. In 2009 after meeting several New York based Artist Giordano moved his studio practice to Bushwick Brooklyn from 2012-2017. Giordano emerged in the dialogue of this arts community of New York and operated a Gallery in Bushwick for Brooklyn Painters. Recently Giordano has been involved in the Arts community of New Hope Pennsylvania and Lambertville New Jersey curating public and gallery exhibitions for artists in these communities. Giordano’s work is held in private collections throughout the US, corporate and university institutions.
