NEWSROOM POST: LAMBERTVILLE, NJ
Clue will be on stage at Music Mountain Theatre on weekends from October 11 - October 27th
(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) –You won’t be able to see this show in the billiard room, or in the conservatory, or in the library…only at Music Mountain Theatre starting this weekend…and it’s going to be killer!
Friday, October 11th will bring a new mainstage production to Music Mountain Theatre (MMT) in Lambertville, New Jersey for a three-weekend run. Clue, the murder mystery comedy based on the 1985 film from Paramount Pictures, based on the classic Hasbro board game, will be the thirteenth mainstage show of MMT’s 2024 season.
Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery, perfect to usher in the Halloween season. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious and colorful guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Led by Wadsworth the butler (famously portrayed by Tim Curry in the film), Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, and Colonel Mustard race to figure out which among them is the killer as the body count continues to stack up.
Adapted from the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn, written by Sandy Rustin, and with additional material by Hunter Forster and Eric Price, Clue is the uproarious whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to piece together WHO did it, and WHERE, and with WHAT!
Clue will run on the MMT stage from October 11th–October 27th, with 8:00 pm evening performances on Fridays and Saturdays and 3:00 pm matinee performances on Saturdays and Sundays. However, the theatre will be closed on Saturday, October 19th for MMT’s Masquerade Gala.
For all MMT shows, discounted tickets are available for students, seniors, and members of the military, as well as for subscribers to MMT, and in group sales of fifteen or more.
