Coanchor and Emmy-Award-Winning Journalist Al Roker to visit Doylestown on Book Tour

Doylestown, PA – Coanchor of NBC’s Today and Emmy-award-winning journalist Al Roker is coming to Doylestown, PA, on Saturday, October 19th at 7:00 pm as part of his book tour for Al Roker’s Recipes to Live By: Easy, Memory-Making Family Dishes for Every Occasion. Al will be joined by his daughter and co-author Courtney Roker Laga, interviewed by author and sports columnist for The Philadelphia Inquirer Mike Sielski.

Al Roker is a coanchor of NBC’s Today, an Emmy-award winning journalist, and a NewYork Times bestselling author. He lives in New York with his family.
Courtney Roker Laga is a recipe developer and trained chef who has worked in two Michelin-starred restaurants. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and young daughter.
Mike Sielski is the author of four books, including The Rise: Kobe Bryant and the Pursuit of Immortality and the upcoming Magic in the Air, which will be published in February. A sports columnist for The Philadelphia Inquirer and Inquirer.com since 2013, he was formerly a reporter at The Wall Street Journal. His work has been anthologized in The Best American Sports Writing and The Year’s Best Sports Writing, and over his career he has been honored by the Associated Press Sports Editors, the Jenkins Medal for Excellence in Sportswriting, the Society of Professional Journalists, and the National Association of Black Journalists. He lives in Doylestown with his wife and two sons.
