Davis, a “sojourner” by nature, turned the business over to his sister, Elsie Coss, and left home for one of his adventures as The Intrepid Trader. A man of many talents, Davis took up the popsicle stick as a medium while living in Silver City, New Mexico. He mailed in his contribution to the Annual Shad Festival Scholarship Auction in 2022, was awarded by the judges. Now his creative contributions are on display – featuring local scenes, residents and cats, aliens, famous art references, and road-runners, all illustrating the joy of creativity and a vivid imagination. Each image has a story that Randall R. Davis will happily relate. Sojourner is owned by his niece Amy Coss and family, providing a wide selection of goods from around the world, beads and local art, keeping the tradition of the romance of commerce alive in Lambertville and actively giving back to the community.
