Lehigh University Student Wins 2nd Place During SETC Awards

Bethlehem, PA – Lehigh University’s Department of Theatre proudly announces Spencer Duff, from the Class of 2025 and the lighting designer for Antigonick, as the recipient of 2nd Place in Undergraduate Lighting Design at the prestigious Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) Awards.

Spencer Duff’s exceptional lighting design for Antigonick captivated audiences and industry professionals alike, showcasing his remarkable talent and dedication. Alongside Lighting Design professor and mentor Will Lowry, Spencer attended the national conference during spring break, where his contributions to the production were recognized by SETC.

As an IDEAS major, Spencer epitomizes our department’s interdisciplinary spirit, blending creativity with technical prowess to craft unforgettable theatrical experiences. His national accolade underscores the Department of Theatre’s commitment to nurturing talent and providing a top-tier education.
