Prospectus for the 95th Juried Art Show at Phillips’ Mill Released

Celebrating a 95th year, the historical arts institution officially releases the Prospectus for its annual cornerstone Arts Event, the Phillips' Mill Juried Art Show

New Hope, PAThe Prospectus for the 95th Juried Art Show at Phillips’ Mill is now available on the Mill’s website at phillipsmill.org.

 

Celebrating 95 years of showcasing exceptional art, the Phillips’ Mill Art Committee encourages artists within a 25-mile radius of the Mill to review the prospectus and start preparing their work to submit when registration opens on July 28 through August 25. All submissions must be registered online via Smarter Entry during this submission period and dropped off at the Mill on receiving days in September for in person jurying.

All pertinent dates and the link to Smarter Entry can be found in the prospectus, which also outlines the three categories open for submissions: framed works, sculpture, and two-dimensional unframed works for the portfolio category. Category requirements and other important details are fully outlined in the prospectus which can be viewed online and downloaded.

The 95th Juried Art Show will take place September 21 – October 27 in the historic Mill, open daily from 1:00-5:00 PM, as well as online. The distinguished panel of judges this year hail from the Barnes Foundation, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, The Clay Studio, and the University of Maryland. Members of the Mill receive a 50% discount on the $35 entry fee. Join before submitting to take advantage of this member perk.

All submitting artists are invited to attend the Patrons’ Preview Reception on Friday, September 20, where they can view the exhibition, network with fellow artists, and celebrate at the awards presentation.
