NEWSROOM POST: NEW HOPE, PENNSYLVANIA
New Hope, PA – New Hope Arts Center opened the doors for a “sneak peek” preview of the renovations happening within the building in preparation for the grand reopening of the public slated on June 15th. Although active with off-site and virtual programming, the New Hope Arts Center building has been closed to the public since January as they turned the keys over to contractors, architects, and engineers.
As a nonprofit since 2002, the entire New Hope Arts Center complex comprises approximately 10,000 square feet. It hosts a mix of active artist studios, a restaurant, and their signature exhibition gallery space on the second floor. One of the most anticipated renovation additions involves an elevator transporting patrons and staff to all three levels. Builder Glenn Stephan, who also serves as a Board Member at New Hope Arts, states he and his rotating crew of eight professionals have been working closely with Ralph Fey Architects.
Stephan and his team have been on site five to six days a week in preparation for the center’s big reveal for the community and all the celebrations planned in June. New Hope Arts is hosting two ticketed celebrations, one on June 6th, “Beyond the Blueprint, A Grand Reopening Celebration” and a “Members Only Reception” on June 10th.
