Trenton Circus Squad Announces Annual Get On Down! Fundraiser for March 25, 2023

The TCS showcases the transformative power of circus arts in the lives of current squad members, alumni, and the larger TCS community

TRENTON, NJ – On Saturday, March 25 at 7 pm, Trenton Circus Squad will once again dazzle audiences of all ages with its 5th annual Get On Down! Fundraiser titled Ripple Effect. This year’s theme showcases the transformative power of circus arts in the lives of current squad members, alumni, and the larger TCS community. Over the years, TCS has enjoyed a remarkable journey with its participants, many of whom have moved on to other circus programs, college, or careers serving their communities. They exemplify the magic that can be sparked by the self-efficacy, teamwork, creativity, and resilience that have always been at the heart of the TCS experience – and inspire greater possibilities for all.

For this year’s “Get On Down!” fundraiser, Trenton Circus Squad has assembled a stellar lineup of current squad members and alumni to raise money for their program, which is open and FREE to all youth, ages 6-18. Last year, Trenton Circus Squad hosted over 215 workshops and 30 performances, entertaining nearly 8,000 children and families in New Jersey. “Watching rehearsals and hearing everyone’s reflections and stories has brought back so many meaningful memories. The audience is in for a treat on March 25,” said executive director Tom von Oehsen.
