New Hope, PA – Prepare to embark on a visual journey celebrating the indomitable spirit of athletes against the breathtaking backdrop of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. 43 Canal Studio, nestled in the heart of New Hope, is proud to present “Bucks in Bucks,” a captivating photographic exhibition by the renowned artist, Daniel T Gramkee. Drawing inspiration from iconic photographers like Herb Ritts, Helmut Newton, and Bruce Weber, Gramkee’s work encapsulates the essence of athletes while paying homage to the beauty of Bucks County, his beloved home for over two decades.

As a Solebury resident since 2002, Gramkee has earned a distinguished reputation for crafting distinctive imagery for both local business professionals and performers, including the vibrant New York theatrical community. His work has graced screens on networks such as Lifetime and CBS, as well as the pages of various publications. With “Bucks in Bucks,” Gramkee shifts his focus to his enduring passion for transforming athletes into works of art.
Cathy Begg, the visionary artist and proprietor of 43 Canal Studio, has graciously opened her gallery walls to showcase Gramkee’s awe-inspiring collection. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience his work in diverse mediums, including metal, acrylic, and giclee prints, among others. In a gesture of community spirit, a percentage of all sales from this exhibition will be donated to the local nonprofit organization, New Hope Celebrates.
The grand unveiling of “Bucks in Bucks” will be celebrated with an unforgettable opening night reception on Saturday, October 7th, from 6 PM to 9 PM. This event promises to be an immersive experience, where guests can engage with the artist and share in the excitement of this remarkable visual journey. The exhibition will continue to captivate art enthusiasts and sports aficionados alike on weekends and select weekdays through October 31st. 43 Canal Studio is conveniently located on the boardwalk overlooking the serene canal in New Hope, seamlessly connected to the New Hope Arts building at the intersection of Bridge Street and Stockton Avenue.
