Lambertville, NJ – From the creators of Broadway‘s record-breaking musical comedy sensation “The Producers” comes “Young Frankenstein,” the monster-hit musical based on the classic film comedy by Mel Brooks. With a book and score by Mel Brooks, book by Thomas Meehan, and original Broadway direction and choreography by Susan Stroman, this wickedly inspired reimagining of the legendary horror story is the tale of bright, young Dr. Frankenstein (that’s “Fronkensteen”), who travels to Transylvania to complete the masterwork of his late grandfather by bringing a corpse to life. “Young Frankenstein” is a scientifically proven, monstrously good time at the theater.
MMT’s production, presented by Carol Cesareo and Chris Boerum, has direction by Micky Dominick, choreography by Louis Palena, music direction by Andrew Rudderow, costume design by Jordan Brennan, lighting design by Jared Williams, and set design by McAfee Madding. The cast includes Louis Palena (Frederick Frankenstein), Zachary Uzupis (The Monster), Jordan Brennan (Igor), Jaimie Geddes (Inga), Susan Keeth (Elizabeth), Jenny McNiven (Frau Blucher), Rhett Commodaro (Inspector Kemp), Ray Ligouri (The Hermit), Matt Keelan (Victor von Frankenstein), and Seth Epstein (Ziggy).
The ensemble includes Jenna Parrilla Alvino, Will Barnes, Jaime Blais, Denise Boyle, Landon DeGroote, Caitlyn Eisenbrey, Aniela Erwin, Jordan Frantz, Katie Gilliland, Matthew Golian, Ben Gossard, Alex Grushow, MacKenna Healy, Libby Kane, Colby Langweiler, Chelsea Connelly Lewis, Caitlyn McCloughan, David McCloughan Jr., Sean McReynolds, Emily Christine O’Sullivan, Tyler Pelton, Liam Potter, Gavin Prikril, and Mike Prikril.
“Young Frankenstein” is a limited engagement of 11 performances only from June 20 through July 6 on Fridays at 8 PM (except July 4), Saturdays at 3 PM and 8 PM, and Sundays at 3 PM. Tickets are $32 for adults ($30 for students, seniors, and military) and can be purchased at musicmountaintheatre.org, in person at the box office, or by calling 609.397.3337.
