Premiere of “The Art Tour,” A New Musical on Stage Now through November 22nd at Theatre Row

Art Tour the Musical Opens at Theatre Row November 14 and will run through November 22
New York, NY – The New York premiere of The Art Tour, a new musical written by Kyle Fackrell and directed by Lindsey Hope Pearlman, starring Michael Tacconi (Parade national tour, Ivo Van Hove’s West Side Story on Broadway, The Cher Show on Broadway) and Samantha Joy Pearlman (Chasing Rainbows at Paper Mill), will run Off-Broadway November 11 – 22, 2025 in a limited engagement at Theatre Row (Theatre Four), located at 410 West 42 Street in New York City. Opening night is November 14.
“Many years ago,” Kyle Fackrell says, “I wandered into a gallery in Breckenridge Colorado and was amazed by the beautiful landscape art, which led me to write The Art Tour, a story about pursuing dreams and falling in love. We hope audiences will enjoy the catchy songs and the genuine warmth of this new two-person musical.”
The production team includes Bryson Baumgartel (Music Direction), Andrew Fox (Orchestration), Izzy Fields (Scenic & Costume Design), Caite Hevner (Projection Design), Kate McGee (Light Design), Tony winner Jessica Paz (Sound Design) and Emily Paige Ballou (Production Stage Manager). Casting by Ross Shenker. General Management by Foundation Theatrical/Erich Jungwirth. Production Management by Parrish Productions/Lauren Parrish.
Musicians include Bryson Baumgartel (Music Director and Keyboard), Micah Burgess (Guitar), Greg Germann (Percussion), Sarah Haines (Violin/Viola), and Angelique Montes (Cello). Understudies are Mike Dorsey and Noa Luz Barenblat.

MICHAEL TACCONI is happy to be back in New York after touring with Parade this past year as Britt Craig. Broadway: West Side Story (Ivo Van Hove), The Cher Show; Off-Broadway: Bare; Regional: Signature Theatre, The Nederlander, Barrington Stage, KC Rep, The Rev, Ogunquit. Some favorite on-screen credits include the feature film Heart of Champions opposite Michael Shannon, The Winchesters, and playing Aaron on the web series Indoor Boys.
SAMANTHA JOY PEARLMAN is honored to create the role of Deb in The Art Tour. A chameleon with a passion for new work, she originated the roles of Mary Jane Gumm in Chasing Rainbows (Paper Mill), Mareesa in Bestie Island (Court Sq), and Louise in Devotedly, Sincerely Yours (Forestburgh/Annenberg), which she also wrote and starred in. On screen, she appeared in The Artist as the mother of young Mandy Patinkin. With her band Joy and the Wildfire (@joyandthewildfire), she toured the Northeast, including serving as the pre-show party for Heart at Bethel Woods. Illustrate Magazine praised her voice as “rich, textured and utterly captivating—like if silk and fire had a baby.” BA: Wesleyan.
