New Hope, PA — Artists Jeanine Pennell and Tyree Dworak co-create “Just for Fun,” a vibrant showcase of ceramic sculpture that explores the idea of what can happen when artists throw caution to the wind and choose to bring play back into the studio. The two artists, who share a deep passion for ceramics, have collaborated to create a space that invites visitors into their artistic world.

Running March 28 – April 26 at New Hope Arts’ A-Space gallery (2 Stockton Ave), “Just for

Fun” celebrates the creative friendship between these two accomplished sculptors.

“We want to create a space where people can get a glimpse inside the playground of our minds,” says Tyree Dworak. “This exhibition is all about celebrating the joy we find in making and sharing art.”

Pennell and Dworak initially connected through their deep love of the craft. Over time, their friendship grew as they supported each other through the triumphs and challenges of running their own businesses.

“Tyree and I have dreamed of collaborating on a show together for years,” says Jeanine Pennell, owner of Bonetown Studio. “When she came to me with the opportunity, I thought, “What would happen if we took away the ‘have-to’s’ and ‘should’s’ and decided to just have fun?” What could we create?”

To kick off the gallery opening, a reception will be held on March 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., where visitors can meet with the artists.
