Week One – The Sebastians and Twelfth Night Ensemble at Trinity Church. Week Two – Time for Three at Morven Museum & Garden.
Princeton, NJ — Between the 2026 Princeton Festival’s three performance-packed weekends at Morven Museum & Garden, exciting Baroque concerts featuring The Sebastians and Twelfth Night Ensemble, and genre-defying music by Time for Three will be presented during the week, on June 9, 11, and 18, respectively.
On Tuesday, June 9 at 7pm, The Sebastians, a New York City-based Baroque ensemble, performs for a fifth consecutive year at the Princeton Festival at nearby Trinity Church. On the program are Johann Sebastian Bach’s Cantatas BWV 140 “Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme” (Sleepers Awake) and BWV 80 “Ein feste Burg is unser Gott” (A Mighty Fortress is Our God), followed by Bach’s Suite No. 2 in A minor, BWV 1067.
Making their Festival debut, the Twelfth Night Ensemble takes the stage at Trinity on Thursday, June 11 at 7pm with a program culminating in Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. Leading up to that iconic work are Pietro Locatelli’s Concerto Grosso in C Minor, Op. 1, No. 11, Arcangelo Corelli’s Violin Sonata in D, Op. 5, No. 1, and Francesco Durante’s Concerto in G Minor.
Time for Three performed at the Princeton Festival in its first iteration at Morven Museum & Garden in June 2022, and opened the Festival in 2023. Returning for their third Festival appearance on Thursday, June 18 at 7pm, members Ranaan Meyer (double bass and vocals), Nick Kendall (violin and vocals), and Charles Yang (violin and vocals) perform in the performance pavilion at Morven. Time for Three captivates audiences worldwide with their virtuosic playing and insatiable appetite for creativity that expands typical perceptions of a string trio. For optimal spontaneity with the audience, Time for Three’s program will be announced from the stage.
