Greeting guests at the event will be this year’s Honored Artist, ceramic sculptor Shawn Campbell of Milford, NJ and Signature Image artist Jay McPhillips of Doylestown, whose vibrant painting “Phillips’ Mill” was selected to promote this year’s show.

Each year a new slate of jurors selects the works to be exhibited and the prizes to be awarded, creating a unique quality and perspective for each show. Jurying the framed pieces – painting, drawing and works on paper – were Robert Reinhardt, art instructor at Germantown Friends School and the Fleisher Art Memorial; William Valerio, Ph.D., CEO of the Woodmere Museum; and Michael Williamson, retired professor of art at the Barnes Foundation. The sculpture and portfolio categories were judged by Chakaia Booker, sculptor and artist, and Jase Clark, printmaker and sculptor based in Philadelphia.

Throughout the run of the show the popular “Meet the Artists” program enables visitors to chat with the artists about their work. Check the Mill’s website for updated schedules. The gallery is open daily from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.  Works can be viewed and purchased online. Admission is $6 for adults, $2 for students, and free for Phillips’ Mill members.
