Princeton’s homegrown alt-rock festival, Four on the Floor, features over three hours of live music by local musicians

Princeton, NJ  — The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) will welcome Four on the Floor, Princeton’s first and only alt rock festival, to the Solley Theater on Saturday, October 17 from 6-9pm. Founded in 2023 by locals Jedd Lopez, Zoe Ferguson, and Melissa Kuscin, this event is completely musician-run and highlights fresh, emerging talent with over three hours of live music celebrating Princeton’s vibrant music scene.

Now in its fourth year, Four on the Floor continues its partnership with the ACP, with proceeds from the festival going towards ACP’s programs, exhibitions, public art, and other community initiatives. Since its inception, the festival has raised more than $4,000 for the ACP’s mission. The standing-room-only event will feature light snacks and water, with beer available for purchase to attendees 21 and older with valid ID.

This year’s lineup includes bands Gina Royale, Sophie Swanson, Yipper, and returning favorite BOMBER JACKET.

“We are so excited to bring Four on the Floor back for the fourth consecutive year! Created by musicians for musicians, we hope this event can be used to meet, collaborate, and get inspired by local bands in our area,” shares festival founder Jedd Lopez. “We welcome everyone who enjoys live, local rock music. We hope to see you there on October 17th!”

Whether you’ve been following Princeton’s indie music scene for years or are simply looking for your next favorite band, Four on the Floor offers a chance to discover new sounds and support the musicians making them.

Tickets are available now via www.fouronthefloorfest.com.
