“Around the World at Christmastime,” will be on Saturday, December 7, 2024, 8:00 PM at the historic First Presbyterian Church of Lambertville
Lambertville, NJ – As part of the Riverside Symphonia’s 35h Season, the symphony will perform the concert “Around the World at Christmastime” at the First Presbyterian Church in Lambertville.
The Riverside Symphonia is delighted to present a festive and captivating holiday concert, “Around the World at Christmastime,” on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 8:00PM at the historic First Presbyterian Church of Lambertville, located at 31 N. Union Street, Lambertville, NJ.
This special performance will showcase an incredible array of talent, beginning with Elizabeth Song, winner of the 2024 Caprio Yong Artist Competition, who will perform Antonio Vivaldi’s “Winter” concerto from The Four Seasons and Frederick Chopin’s Nocturnes in a stunning arrangement by Maestro Smolij for violin and string orchestra.
The evening will also feature the talented soprano Beautiful Sheriff, who will perform an aria from George Frideric Handel’s Messiah and “A Hymn and Three Spirituals” in an arrangement by Harold Mims. Sheriff’s powerful voice will bring to life both classical and traditional selections, adding a special touch to the concert’s holiday theme.
The orchestra, led by Maestro Smolij, will also perform traditional holiday favorites, promising a festive musical journey around the globe.
