Candlelit Holiday Tours Light Up Historic Estate

Holly Nights is Pennsbury Manor’s Most Popular Event of the Year and will be held on select dates in the month of December.
Morrisville, PA – Two thousand candles are coming to Pennsbury Manor, William Penn’s historic estate, for two popular holiday season events.
On December 5 and 6, Holly Nights is the most popular event of the year at Pennsbury Manor. Over two nights, 2,000 visitors will experience the festively decorated Manor House and grounds lit by candlelight and lantern light.

Activities will include:
- -Crackling fires
- -Carolers strolling the grounds
- -Hot-mulled cider and baked goods
- -Colonial craftspeople
- -Musical performances
- -Lantern-lined walking paths
- -Holiday decorations
This popular, volunteer-powered event typically sells out in advance.

On December 13, 14, 27, and 28, Candlelight Tours provide an opportunity for intimate small groups (limited to 25 people) to experience the decorated, candlelit estate in daylight and at dusk. Tours are offered at 3pm, 5pm, and 6pm.

About Pennsbury Manor Pennsbury Manor is the 43 acre reconstructed estate of William Penn in Pennsylvania. Penn purchased the land for his home from Pennsylvania first people, the Lenape. Today the site is operated by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission with the assistance of the 501(c)(3) Pennsbury Society.
