Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society and the Zlock Performing Arts Center proudly present international guitar sensation Julia Trintschuk on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
Newtown, PA – Music lovers and guitar enthusiasts are invited to experience an extraordinary afternoon of classical guitar with Julia Trintschuk, one of Germany’s leading classical guitarists of her generation. Presented in collaboration with the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society, this special performance will take place at the Zlock Performing Arts Center on the campus of Bucks County Community College.
Julia Trintschuk is recognized around the world for her technical brilliance, musical depth, and charismatic stage presence. Her performances showcase a wide-ranging repertoire—from Renaissance masterpieces to contemporary compositions—highlighting her incredible versatility and passion for the instrument.
Julia’s musical journey began at the age of four under the guidance of her father, Anatolij Trintschuk. By age six, she was studying with renowned guitarist Prof. Mario Sicca, and later honed her craft under celebrated mentors including Martin Wiedmann, Prof. Johannes Monno, Ivo and Sofia Kaltchev, and Mateus dela Fonte. She completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees with distinction, along with the prestigious soloist exam at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf. Today, Julia continues to shape the next generation of musicians as an instructor at the University of Music in Karlsruhe.
In addition to her solo work, Julia collaborates with contemporary composers, premieres new works, and regularly performs with orchestras and chamber ensembles across Europe, including the ADDA Orquesta Sinfónica de Alicante, National Montenegro Symphony Orchestra, Neue Philharmonie Westfalen, and Orquesta de Málaga.
