"Covering Romance” Exhibition Unveils Romance Novel Cover Art by Acclaimed Artist John Ennis

This popular exhibit offered a Special Preview Party that is now sold out for Friday, February 9th. Guests at this exclusive preview will be the first to see and purchase the work while enjoying an offering of bourbon and chocolate in celebration of the Valentine’s themed evening.

Yardley, PA – The AOY Art Center gallery is thrilled to present the art exhibition,”Covering Romance,” featuring a collection of oil illustrations by the award- winning artist, John Ennis, originally published as paperback romance novels. This showcase pays homage to the timeless allure of romance novels from the 1980-90s era. Art enthusiasts, collectors, and incurable romantics are invited to indulge in this captivating display at the AOY Art Center gallery for two weekends from February 10th to 18th, 2024.
John Ennis, celebrated for his mastery in capturing human emotions on canvas, brought these love stories to life. The “Covering Romance” exhibition promises a journey through time, as visitors immerse themselves in the heartwarming narratives and enchanting atmospheres depicted in each illustration. These original oil paintings are being seen by the public for the first time after being sequestered in the artist’s studio for 30 years.

Now sold out, the Special Preview Party on Friday on February 9th will be the first to see and purchase the work while enjoying an offering of bourbon and chocolate in celebration of the Valentine’s themed evening.The Special Preview Party will also include a chance to win a Covering Romance original painting as the door prize.
The preview guests will have the first opportunity to own one of these treasures by one of Bucks County’s most accomplished artists and renowned romance illustrators.
The exhibit will continue to be open to the public on Sunday 2/11, Friday 2/16, Saturday 2/17 and Sunday 2/18 from 12-5pm.
