Double Take: Art Exhibition Hits Stover Mill

Erwinna, PA – Sue Ann Rainey presents a Double Take art exhibition of watercolors and photographs at Stover Mill Gallery. The exhibition opens with an artist’s reception on July 1 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM and continues through July 30, 2023, 1:00 to 5:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Sue Ann paints en plein air watercolors of local towns, farms and scenes along the Delaware River and beyond. Buildings, the River, farms, and landscapes are popular subjects as she captures the light and color of the scenes.

Sue Ann also captures the areas many interesting sights with her camera as she scouts out painting locations. Some of the photographic images are then manipulated and montaged to form other-worldly images that make you take a double take. She has been photographing the area throughout her life as a local from Carversville and now living in Tinicum, Pennsylvania.
