Arts Council of Princeton to Host Hispanic Heritage Month Dance Party

Princeton, NJ – The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) will host an all-ages Outdoor Hispanic Heritage Month Dance Party on Friday, October 11 from 7-9pm.

 

Attendees are invited to show off their moves and learn a few new ones as volunteer dance instructors from Más Flow, Princeton University’s Latin dance company, lead tutorials in favorites like Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia, and more.

Más Flow is Princeton’s premier Latin dance group, a space where members celebrate culture, dances, music, and artists from all over Latin America. This dance group has formed an essential part of the Latine identity on campus, helping foster affinity environments to celebrate Latin dance.

Come solo or bring your favorite dance partner. This family-friendly event is free, all ages, and open to everyone.

 

Hispanic Heritage Month is a month-long celebration of Hispanic and Latino history and culture. From September 15 to October 15, give extra recognition to the many contributions made to the history and culture of the United States, including important advocacy work, vibrant art, popular and traditional foods, and much more.  Arts Council of Princeton, 102 Witherspoon Street, Princeton.
