“Fiber art includes creations that use fiber and possess aesthetic value. These works communicate a message, emotion, or meaning beyond literal meaning of the materials. Fiber art can include quilting, knitting, and felting. Textiles cover and protect us from the moment we are born up until we die. Life’s most significant events are expressed in many ways with treasured textiles,” explains Mary Schwarzenberger, Curator.

Visitors are welcome to take a tour of the Makers Alley facility and see the artists and artisan spaces and view the current art and sculpture member exhibition.
