The historic Newtown Theatre will screen its annual series of free kids’ movies this summer on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m
Newtown, PA — The historic Newtown Theatre will screen its annual series of free kids’ movies this summer on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. The theme of this year’s series is “Travel the World.”
For nearly a decade, this series has been free to the public thanks to presenting sponsor Karen Ann Ulmer, P.C., Attorneys at Law.
Note that these screenings are for families only, not summer camps. Summer camps interested in renting the theatre to show a movie for their campers should email rocco@thenewtowntheatre.com for details.
Seating for these movies is first come first served and doors open one hour before show time. This year’s movie lineup includes:
-“Encanto” (2021) on Wednesday, July 8 at 10:00 a.m. Rated PG.
-“Mulan” (1998) on Wednesday, July 15 at 10:00 a.m. Rated G.
-“Coco” (2017) on Wednesday, July 22 at 10:00 a.m. Rated PG.
-“Tarzan” (1999) on Wednesday, July 29 at 10:00 a.m. Rated G.
-“Ratatouille” (2007) on Wednesday, August 5 at 10:00 a.m. Rated G.
-“Aladdin” (1992) on Wednesday, August 12 at 10:00 a.m. Rated G.
-“The Lion King” (1994) on Wednesday, August 19 at 10:00 a.m. Rated PG.
