WHAT: An Old Time Music show with The Long Hill String Band

WHEN: Saturday, August 16th, 2025; Doors open at 7:30 PM, Music begins at 8:00 PM; $10/advance, $15 at the door

WHERE: Flemington DIY, 26 Stangl Road, Flemington, NJ

The Long Hill String Band performs music and song in the old Appalachian tradition – guaranteed to get your feet tapping and your spirit racing. They play a wide selection of reels, jigs, square dance tunes, waltzes, rags, and tunes you can sing along to.

 

The band comprises fiddle, banjo, mandolin, upright bass and guitar, and they are recognized as one of New Jersey’s most accomplished string bands. An evening not to be missed!

Bob Bell – Banjo and Vocals

Karl Varnai – Fiddle

Ron Stevenson – 5 String Fiddle and Vocals

George Skic – Upright Bass

Charlie Pearlman – Guitar, Vocals

Bob Safranek – Mandolin, Vocals
