On view September 11–27 at AOY Art Center, the exhibition brings together more than 144 works by 75 artists
Yardley, PA — From sweeping landscapes and lively scenes of everyday life to bold abstractions, handcrafted jewelry, fiber art and sculpture, the 2026 AOY Members Show offers a colorful snapshot of the creativity thriving within the local arts community.
On view September 11–27 at AOY Art Center, the exhibition brings together more than 144 works by 75 artists, making it one of AOY’s largest and most diverse exhibitions of the year.
Visitors will discover an eclectic mix throughout the historic Janney House galleries. Representational paintings capture everything from sailboats catching the wind and sunlit landscapes to architecture, flowers and people navigating a rainy city street. Other artists turn away from literal representation, experimenting with energetic shapes, layered surfaces, unexpected color combinations and mixed-media compositions.
The variety extends well beyond the canvas. Three-dimensional works include ceramics, jewelry and fiber art, demonstrating the range of materials and creative approaches embraced by AOY members.

“The Members Show is special because there is no single style or point of view,” said Bette Sovinee, Executive Director of AOY Art Center. “You can move from a beautifully observed landscape to an abstract work, a piece of sculpture or an intricately created piece of fiber art. Together, they reflect the individuality of our artists and the wonderful breadth of our creative community.”
The exhibition is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12–5 p.m. Due to the Jewish holidays, this year’s Opening Reception will be held Sunday, September 13, from 3–5 p.m. The public is invited to meet participating artists, explore the exhibition and enjoy an afternoon of art. Admission is free. Donations greatly appreciated.

AOY Art Center is located at 949 Mirror Lake Road, Yardley, PA, on the Patterson Farm.
