Sarah LeClair to Lead an Improv Workshop on May 3rd at Phillips' Mill

New Hope, PA — Curious about the art form of improvisation? Want to have a good time? Come to Phillips’ Mill on Sunday, May 3 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm for another of the Mill’s popular Salon events. This workshop will encourage you to embrace the art of improvisationwith host Sarah LeClair, who says everyone can improvise – and everyone should!

Come socialize and meet new people who are ready to train our brains to think more spontaneously, playfully, and joyfully!  This workshop is perfect for beginners AND those who have dabbled already.  We will play games and make up scenes on the spot and connect the applications of comedy improv to our everyday lives and goals.  Take a creative risk in a supportive room full of soon-to-be friends.  Leave feeling energized and excited for more –– the only risk is laughing too much!

Sarah LeClair is a Philadelphia-based improv performer, director, and instructor.  She served as Executive Director of ComedySportz Philadelphia, and can be seen in their mainstage matches and in their specialty shows such as Pitch/Black and Murder Manor: Golden Girls (Rose).  She also works frequently with SideQuest Theater, performing (Best Medicine), directing (Objection! An Unscripted Courtroom Comedy) and instructing (Camp SideQuest).  Sarah is also one half of the improvised horror comedy Terror Trove and is currently developing two different improv shows based on classic works from Shakespeare and Dickens.
