(Doylestown, PA) – The award-winning Harlequin Club of Central Bucks High School West, a donation-supported theatre program for students, is thrilled to announce its upcoming production of Mean Girls High School Version, set to hit the stage from March 14 – 17th, 2024. Adapted from the hit movie, this production promises to captivate audiences with its catchy tunes, witty dialogue, and iconic characters in this hilariously irreverent musical.
Follow our heroin, Cady Heron, who, after moving to a new school, struggles to rise to the top of the popularity pecking order by taking on the charming but ruthless Plastics under the behest of her newfound friends Damian and Janis. Lies, manipulation, and sabotage ensue as the girls fight for dominance. But woven throughout this cheeky script are poignant moments that explore the universal themes of friendship, honesty, acceptance, and individuality.
Under the direction of Claudine Piechotta, the talented cast and crew of the Central Bucks West Harlequin Club have been hard at work since January to bring this newly released classic high school comedy to life on stage.
