Beloved community music festival now set to take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 12-6pm.
Princeton, NJ — The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) has announced a new date for this year’s Princeton Porchfest, with the beloved community music festival now set to take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 12-6pm.
Originally scheduled for Saturday, April 25, Porchfest is now scheduled for this fall with the same signature blend of live music, neighborhood hospitality, and community connection that has made the event a favorite among residents and visitors alike.
Now entering its fifth year, Porchfest transforms porches, lawns, and public spaces throughout Princeton into pop-up performance venues featuring local musicians across a wide range of genres. Attendees are invited to stroll from stop to stop, discovering live music throughout town while exploring Princeton’s neighborhoods and local businesses.
The ACP is currently working with musicians and porch hosts to confirm the updated lineup and event map. Priority is being given to performers originally scheduled for the April event, while additional musicians are encouraged to join the waitlist on the Arts Council website should space become available.
More details, including the full lineup, performance schedule, and interactive map, will be announced in the coming months.
Presented by the Arts Council of Princeton, Porchfest celebrates the power of the arts to bring communities together through accessible, joyful shared experiences. The event remains free and open to the public.
Porchfest wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of the following sponsors: Municipality of Princeton, Witherspoon Media Group , Howard Design Group, Donnelly Media, WPRB Princeton, Graduate by Hilton Princeton, Cheryl Fitzgerald, Alison Prussing, and Marion Young (Producers of the Spectacular, Spectacular!), Palmer Square, Experience Princeton, Patrick de Maynadier, Lydia & Johan Pfeiffer, Sue & Bernie Hvozdovic, Corcoran, Avalon on Harrison, The Car Store, Zen Leaf, NJM, Small World Coffee, Jammin Crepes, Tiger Treats.
