ACME Screening Room Presents: The Lambertville Halloween Film Festival and Monster Homecoming

This spooky film season at Acme on October 17, 18 & 19th, short films will be broken down into the following blocks: Heady Horror, Guts & Gore and Happy Halloween!

Lambertville, NJ –  The ACME Screening Room kicks off Lambertville’s historic seasonal Halloween festivities with the fourth annual Lambertville Halloween Film Festival, October 17-19. Come out for the juried LHFF short film festival and stick around for a weekend full of parties, horror guest speakers and special events.

This season our short films will be broken down into the following blocks: Heady Horror (psychological thrillers, Sci-Fi, and slow-burn horror), Guts and Gore (slashers, exploitation, and after-dark) and Happy Halloween! (Any short film with that Halloween vibe–even if it’s not horror.)

The opening night party, Monster Homecoming, takes place on Friday October 17, 7pm, at the Lambertville Music Hall. The is year’s theme is “Homecoming” based off the story of Lambertville High and the legend of “Buckeye”. Guest MC’s are Mike Maronna and Danny Tamberelli of The Adventures of Pete and Pete fame. Dan’s band Jounce will perform the Empire Records soundtrack. A costume contest, Natural Mystic Tarot Reader, silent auction and photo booth round out the night. Food provided by D’Angelos’ Italian Market, Princeton. Sponsored by Explore Lambertville, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Wynk Seltzers and Unreality Productions.

Saturday and Sunday bring film screenings, New Hope Ghost Tours and a A Nightmare in New Hope horror prop gallery, with Mike and Dan hosting a special surprise event to close out Saturday night.
